Peanut Butter Bites
October 25, 2015

These peanut butter dessert bites are the perfect combination of salty and sweet. If you like the taste of Nutter Butter cookies but hate the ingredients (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, hydrogenated rapeseed oil, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavor, just to name a few...), we suggest you try these! Consider it a recipe do-over.
Bonus: they're NO BAKE and take less than 10 whole minutes to make (and they're gluten free for the gluten intolerant peeps out there)! You'll never have to settle with Nutter Butters again with this recipe on hand.

PEANUT BUTTER BITES
Ingredients
8 medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup rolled oats
Optional: cacao chips
Directions
In a food processor, combine dates and peanut butter until a sticky dough forms.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in oats (and cacao chips, if desired); roll into balls and enjoy!
Recipe makes about 14 balls. If you like a firmer texture, refrigerate bites for 30 minutes before indulging.
Nutritional Information (1 ball): 70 calories, 12.1g carbs, 2.4g fat, 1.6g protein
If you enjoyed this post and/or recipe, please pass it along! Sharing is caring ;) Thank you!
