Granola is an awesome snack to have on hand because you can eat it anywhere - in the kitchen, at work, in the car, on a walk, at the game. Who hasn't attempted to civilly shove a handful of granola into their mouth?
Unfortunately, it takes some time to find a store-bought granola that isn't packed full of sugar. We're not about settling, so if you can't find what you want, make it!
This recipe is great because you don't have to rely on a ton of dried sugar to get that crunch. By using quinoa and adding a variety of nuts and seeds, we can get that wonderful granola texture, minus the sugar high. (Side note: if you are concerned about the digestibility of quinoa, you have a few options: either soak the grain first OR use oats instead).
